The Snake is often paired with the Crane for longevity. Altough a difficult posture it is one that promotes a healthy Spleen getting nourishment from the earth.

As the saying goes, “You are what you eat”. We may have a tendency to ignore good eating habits because of today’s busy environment. Developing healthy dietary habits is what is most important and it is not as confusing or restrictive as many people think.
Nourish and strengthen your spleen with nutritional knowledege based on the 5 element theory and also basic known nutritional advice with various methods for good health, longevity and vitality.
The spleen is considered by practitioners to be the main organ of digestion, responsible for transforming and extracting nutrients from the foods we eat into chi and blood.
This is the season of Earth so lets focus on Spleen and Stomach health.
