LESSON: Small Steps Can Lead to Big Changes

SYNOPSIS: Between 2016 and 2017, I completed my first Tai Chi course and looked for new ways to reach students online. With the help of Danny, a filmmaker I met through an Amway event, I filmed free Tai Chi videos in scenic Waihinahina Park. The project, titled "Tai Chi 5 Minutes a Day," encouraged viewers to develop healthy habits through short, daily practice. On January 27, 2017, I published the first video, which quickly gained over 100,000 views and drew hundreds of comments from viewers committing to the one-hundred-day challenge. The video’s success led to my first online Tai Chi class, where I taught a small but diverse group of students. This marked the start of my online teaching journey.
